tell the shop to accept a cash down payment of the original amount and tell him you will return to pay the remainder when he gets his CC machine fixed. Otherwise have it towed off site and then negotiate.

And post his ****ty shop name

i will definitely not pay that amount until he tells me why he didn't call me to inform me BEFORE he actually did it, that's dishonest.

I think that you are a whiner and didn't think beforehand to get anything in writing. So you were charged $600. You hadn't agreed on a price for anything other than the sides getting painted, and that was only a verbal agreement. I think you should man up and pay the dude and learn your lesson.

i..already....said....that....i.....should've.....gotten.... a....written....agreement

....but i'm not "manning up" and payin for somethin that i wasn't informed of before he did it. he gave a quote, so he should be the man and call me before he incurred more charges without my knowledge. if you ain't got nothin constructive to say then stay the f*ck out of my thread...

You are acting like a pu$sy. You say that you already stated that you didn't get anything in writing, yet you still think that you want something 'back' from that place, or that you might not pay them the full amount.

Sorry that a different point of view than "you are owed something because you didn't get it in writing" pisses you off, but it's constructive as hell. You obviously need a personality lesson.

hey, how about you lay off the guy, you came at him first with the "whining" line....we obviously know that he should've gotten a written estimate but i don't think he should have to eat the cost because the merchant was dishonest to him...

Although he should have gotten a written estimate it doesn't make it right that he was over charged. Nobody in their right mind would pay $600 to get some side skirts painted, especially at a "discounted" price.

Fluid always seems to have sand in his pu$$y.

Rudy, I would go pay him the orig. amount and see what he says/does. If he goes and rips the sides off, then bring a suit. I don't think you can lien a car. I know in construction that you can't lien a job unless its over $2500.

Rudy I wish you the best of luck. I hope all works out. Atleast post pics when its done
