I just wanted to show some pictures at a track day a couple of months ago. My friend has the RX-7 pictured a few times. We drove 11 hours the night before from Mass. I even got to get a few laps in the passenger seat. Got up to 160 MPH on a certain section. The session after mine the car broke, He blew the wastegate to pieces. This was only his second track event on the new motor. Luckily it can be fixed easily. He turned the boost down just in case. He said next season he will have race rubber. His class was the intermediate and there were only 2 cars faster than his, a modded C5 Z06 and the red Supra (which was pushing 650 hp to the wheels and hew was a great driver, no dyno queen here )
