.....decided I needed something more practical for daily. Dumped all the money into a new Si. Not as fast as the Z of course but I like the added room and 8k redline.
edit: The Z will be my afterwork, fun, night, weekend car now.

Love those things even though they arent the best looking civic. I think you made a good decision. I mean, I'd much rather have a second car than just one fast car that might break down.

Congrats on your new car.
But one thing I would not understand, people fix up their cars nice and fast but they can't or don't want to drive it. Fix it up for a weekend car? For me, I would enjoy driving my car hard until it die on my right feet. Once it dies then forged internal comes.

I dont really understand this ... I guess I just dont view Z's as weekend cars. Its not like its a high end vehicle that you want to spare milage/wear and tear. The Z is a practical sports car made by Nissan... Its just not adding up. Good choice on a daily driver and Im not bashing ... I just dont see the point. Daily driver = 20-25k approx .. and your "weekend car" = 20-30k ???
