I'm really not sure what you are getting at.Your whole post was blasting those saying they disliked it and that it was ricey because you thought it looked cool. And yes, negative comments almost always stand out more than the positive ones.

umm.. don't people pick out cars that they think are cool? maybe i should go buy a car i hate so that i avoid the chance of being called a ricer.

Bright color (neon green), mismatched top and front stripe (silver), extremely aggressive body kit that has no function besides robbing performance (veilside kit), and I am sure there are other visual "upgrades" as well. It might be expensive class A rice, but it is still rice.

Perhaps you will be kind enough to post pics of your car, so we can all see that everything you have done or will do to it has a function and none of it is for "show only".
I did not "blast" anyone for having a different opinion than myself. I simply pointed out that you either like it or you don't, but there is no call for being an **** about it.
Well she is 95% back together. I have photos of it but I’m at work and can’t post them. I also took them with my phone my camera is at home. If some wants I can email them and the can host and add.
The rice comments I over look. How many muscle cars and hot rod guys, do you think, talked $hit about all the fabrication work Foose, Boyd and all those other guys did back in the day. Some people just don’t have any creativity or artistic ability. To each their own. It is no where close to the same color as the eclipse.
The reason I bought the Z was to make a show car. I have about another 5k to spend this year. I plan on a TT next year I would like to have the motor built when I go TT.
Thanks for the comments good and bad. I will post photos ASAP.
The reason I went with the exterior first is my dad backed my car into my MX trailer a while back and it tore a hole in the rear bumper. So I had it fixed.

#1: body kit is the veilside kit, no purpose what-so ever performance wise even though it very aggressive (or gaudy depending on who you ask) in appearance, and actually robs performance as it adds a lot of weight and drag (not aerodynamic).
#2: Very bright 2 tone mismatched colors. Silver top/hood and Green body. Made to stand out but if not color coordinated (and no, Lambo and Ferrari do not make a car that out of whack. Bugatti does though...)
#3: The second most common comments in this thread refer to the car and the movie Fast and Furious. I would consider that also a sign of setting over the boundary of tasteful and rice.
If you saw a Saturn Ion painted extremely bright in 2 mismatching colors with a massive body kit on it, what would you call it? And as far as being an ****, you are the one calling everyone that disagrees with it being cool an **** even if they have very valid points. *edit*: Calling it rice is not being an **** either. It meets the definitions to a tee. I would not be surprised if later on it has several decals and stickers as well. And a show car can still be riced out even if a lot of money was dumped into it.
As far as my vehicles go, I guess I will take come pics of my cars tonight. They both look completely stock from the outside and from the drivers compartment unless is running and then in my trip computer display it shows my boost level as well. I do want to say I see a lot of tastefully modded Z's here as well.

Need a Kawasaki to go with it. Love it dude. That car is gonna look crazy sick when it's done. (crazy sick in a good way, not literally... lol, not funny, but lol anyway)
