Well she is green.
I'm at work they have the img hosting sites blocked. I will try to do it when I get home about 11. I have to be back at 6 in the morning and work unill 10 tomorrow night.
Actually I owned a Skyline GT250 in Japan, drove a heavily modified R34 GTR often, a Nismo R 350z, and many other house tuned cars (Honda tuned RSX type R used for their Suzuka races, FD RX-7, Silvia, rotary swap Miata, shifter carts, 1999 STI and others). Both of my cars are blue in color, but I like the color blue and they match the lines of the car. In fact I drove enough cars there and saw enough otehr cars there that I didn't even bat an eye twice at the various Bugatti's and Ferrari's I saw. In fact the only one that really caught my attention besides the F1 cars was the F40 that was parked next to the heli pad at Suzuka.
Even in Japan the guys I knew considered the Vielside kit or similar kit to likely be a Chiba based car. It was also usually verified upon closer inspection by the license plate. They were considered lower class than what the Yokohomo or Tokyo guys usually drove.
The reason I was on these boards was because I had one there. I sold it when I came back to the US. I was planning on buying a G37 or a 2009 Z when they came out, but I am unsure if I like the direction Nissan is currently taking with the vehicle line on the visual side. If the 2009 Z heads downhill as well, I might relook at the BMW 335 coupe or a M3, although I am not sure I want to spend that kind of money on a car now.
But hey, like I said, everyone likes something. If you like it, enjoy. Just realize that you likely have a lot more people looking down at the car now than up to it unless you run in certain circles (and it is not the overall car enthusiasts or even many of the Z enthusiast as the comments here have pointed out.)

Wow this thread turned ugly. Jabdo, the only thing you posted that looked even half-way decent was the black on black Bentley. The Veilside V2 doesn't even compare aesthetic-wise to the Nismo V2, and you seem to have seriously bad taste in car modding if you think otherwise. Do us all a favor and leave your 07 stock.
Here you go

Vorias you don't understand I don't care how people view me. I sure as crap don't care about your opinion. It's not personal I just don’t care. I didn't mean to offend you if I did I'm sorry. I was just was wondering if you own a Z. I looked at the Lotus, BMW, G35, all kind of cars before I bought the Z. I could go out and buy an 80k dollar sports car if I wanted. Then I could look like every one else. That’s just not me. I think the misunderstanding started when you offered your opinion. I didn't want your opinion or anyone’s for that matter. I was just showing that I got my car painted green. I’m proud for you success with all the cars you have owned and driven. I hope it continues. I still didn't get the color of your current car. I’m not wanting to build a car for an adult they can build their own car. My enjoyment comes from the kids who face light up when they see the car and want to know about it. It about the kids not you or whose in Japan or anyone else for that matter. You can say what you want kids and there parents like the cars.

your car would look hot if you didnt have those horrible rims on it...
i was thinking about a dark green for my Z as well. to the OP, tht color needs to be on a Murcialago, your car is worth less than 1/10th that car

hershel you have an awesome attitude man. Shows a lot of character how you didn't snap at all these haters. Great work and I am glad you have found something that gives your hobby a lot more meaning than just going out and buying an expensive sports car and keeping it stock.
Hershell,
I am sorry if you took it as a personal attack. I was trying to say that I disagree with your choice of car modifications, but honestly that is for the owner to decide what they like and dislike. There are people on this board that call the people that add a large body kit and paint their Saturn Ion like yours ricers, but yet those same peopel people are calling your car a work of art. These were the people I was moer or less directed at. The ones that argue that anyone that doesn't like the way your car is done or that disagrees with your choice has to be wrong. As I said earlier, each person has their own idea of what looks good.
I personally drive a chicks car (an Audi TT) that I really enjoy. Btw, it's Demin Blue. The IS 350 is Midnight Blue. I personally like the color blue. I spent a lot of money keeping my car looking stock (for example, my boost gauge was over $600 because it is part of the trip computer which is in the center of the dash to keep the stock apperance.) A lot of people would say that was a waste of money, but it is what I like. Like you I could care less about what others say. I respect you for that.
Also congrats to you on your accomplishment. I too am 33 and very well off financially now (although I had very humble roots). Me listing what I drove in Japan was more for your knowledge that I have been around many cars and that I am not biased against import brands or models. I really do enjoy cars and enjoy the fun of working on them and driving them.
And finally for my tastes, and I'll clarify that is my tastes, I think the other green Z with the Nismo kit is very well done visually except for the wheel choice. Again, what I think are the the optimal looks for a Z aren't going to coincide with everyones optimal apperance and visa a versa.
added a couple pics even though my car pic isn't good

bah, can't get the image to work, link is

To the OP, after seeing the car as a whole, I still dont like the kit and I think if the green was a moroon or dark red it would look really hot! To Jabdo, the Veilside 2 is the ugliest kit for the Z, I really would like to see your Z or do you not have one?

Hersh your car came out nice, might not look right for a lot of people but that's why it's YOUR car. To Each His Own!!! I respect the fact that you're taking all the critisms (even the non-constructive ones) at face value. People should respect the fact that you had a vision and went with it, especially the self proclaimed "artists". Looks nice bro, keep it up...
