wow. Did you just say "hating"? Guys like you blow my mind.

Cutting coils is to lowering what cardboard and duct tape are to aero kits. Doing that completely changes the spring rate since you are changing how many coils or turns per X amount of wire length, severely hurting performance and your safety. You also risk having it lay incorrectly on the perch, and put more stress on the damper. If you are cutting a full coil, your handling is going to be completely gone and the car will drive like a turd. He's rocking some pricey wheels, so why skimp on the suspension with some ghetto rice drop? Oh, I guess questioning that is "hating" or whatever wannabe-urban dorkword you want to use. Very interesting first post though, Captain Rescue.

OP, the car looks great and sorry I didn't make that clear in my first post. Don't take any of this personally, just be safe. No one here wants to see another member damage their car (or worse).

Love HRE, not loving that style. Car looks clean, but cutting coils is ghetto IMO.

cutting springs is beyond ricer.

get some spacers in the front too

well i only cut the coil cuz i wannted it to sit low, untill i get my coilovers so wea is a bit ricerish... but i like how it looks and it rides really well
