Great vids, thanks!

What all is done to that 350Z? Is it totally race prepped or street legal?

Could someone please explain this to the ignorant person (me)? I don't understand why folks think this is cool - I'm not down on it, I just don't get it.

What's the draw?

I don't get it either...... maybe it's just my autocrossing background thinking that's not the fastest way around the course.... is it supposed to be more for show? who looks the coolest doing it? Not shooting it down, make your own choices do what you want to do, I just don't get the point.

Looks like they're having fun. This is much more difficult on a motorcycle.

This is Very,Very big in japan!!!
It actually takes alot of Skill--if you've ever seen an OPITON video---whooooo they are good(how they are E-braking and all that),...its about style and the Judges rate it on that(a panel of like 3-5 judges)and how smooth you can stay that way(sideways) around turns---but its normally done w/ a team of Drifters--5-6 cars.
Its actually quite Cool lookin(how they are all sideways in a neat line around turns & even more fun to do---and they aren't even on tight track or street where its normally done!

If you haven't already--check out an option Video--you'll love it,...but BEWARE--you'll want an AE86 or a damn S15 afterwards---I Promise!
I love it---I pratice it alot when I get the chance---just kickin out that *** around turns is fun as hell to me------but it will kill your tires--Don't get to do it as much now that I got a set or $1200 tires on now!

If I ever did that I would be afraid of running into the other guy! Its kind of funny seeing those old Corollas go around the track like that though. It reminds me of the time my parents had one and I took it through the canyons and almost over the edge. Ahhh to be a kid again.
