I think we all might be going a little bit too harsh on the guy. I know we all didn't have the tastes and preferences we have now when we first bought our Z's. It took a little bit of trial and error (at least for most people). Hopefully the TSW's will lead to bigger and better things.
As for me i'd probably keep the OEM wheels until I had enough money to buy the wheels I really wanted (i'm a brand *****). I know having the Z made me think differently at how I would go about modifying any car. The simpler the better. Let the quality parts talk for themselves.
Thanks for the "back up VQ", but I can stand by my purchase. I paid a fraction of the cost of even 1 volk or work wheel.
I bought them because of how they looked on another Zers car. If they explode when I am NOT tracking or NOT drifting then I guess Im up ***** creek. Also if they are the same weight or heavier than stock, and it's going to hurt my drag/drift/autox time that I DONT do, then I will give up the money I am saving to pay off my Z and buy some wheel ***** brand (no offense VQ, i love volk/work too)
All in all, I have learned to know what I'm talking about in regards to offsets prior to saying I understand them.
