The RGIIs definitely rock, but I'm not looking to drop 3-4k on wheels and tires for a car I have 95k miles on (i.e. daily, weekend, all-time driver...) already since I purchased in fall of 05 w/ 15k.
Those Rotas actually looks good. I dunno, I guess as long as they don't replicate my Volks I'll be ok. I don't think Rotas will start replicating 2-3 piece stuff...they have only done 1 piece cast replicas in the past.

I really think Rotas should come out with something nice and original. I know their quality of wheels is better than many other ebay wheels. It would be cool for them to design and manufacture a sweet set so everyone will stop ******* on them for not being original!
I don't dog them. I like rotas and if I didn't care they were heavier and not forged I would buy a set.
but I totally agree! if they made even one of thier own designs or modified an existing one (sizes don't count) to be 'thier own' they would get more props...

^ When you think about it from a business perspective they really don't have much reason to design something original. I mean, hey, what's better than sitting back and waiting to see what gets to be a popular design, then making a replica in multiple colors, widths, offsets. Heck, they often offer more colors, widths, and offset combinations than the originals... I think they have plenty of fans and are probably making plenty of money doing it the way they are doing it.
No loss of money from people not buying your product b/c you are making only the MOST popular designs... and ppl buy it b/c they don't want to pay Volk, Advan, Work, etc. prices...
I see what you fellas are saying, but if I was running rota and making mad cash, I wouldn't change my philosophy...
