Default 2008 Z06

They call it "Jet Stream Blue"

In addition to some colors, GM is placing in the CAR some upgraded heavy duty drivetrain and chassis parts. I suppose this is some confirmation for an even meaner 09' model.

Good stuff.

That is a very nice color blue.

Check this link out on the 2009 Blue Devil.

They are trying to get 700hp, but looks like it will have a 6.2 liter Supercharged V8. Here is the link check it out.http://www.caranddriver.com/carnews/...ing-phase.html

The 6.2 has a shorter stroke I think, which will enable it to rev quicker for boost applications.

Nice, looks to be a variation of the Nassau Blue color in the 97-98 years. Loved that color.

Not a bad colour. I'd take red>black>dark blue>orange>yellow>jet stream blue,
ie silver is too common

You know something funny; on the Z06 forum, the majority of the drivers / members are mid 20s to mid 30s, with a few geriatric members.

My conclusion is that the older drivers are not on the web that much.

i live in south florida, i can tell you the age of your average vette owner down here. 50's. my good friend has an 03 ZO6 but most vette owner are in the over 40 range. still a badass car though.

This is so cliche. It was sort of funny back in the 90's... but very old and incorrect today.

I'm sure your not going to see alot of teens & 20 year olds in vettes with 500hp & a 70k price tag as much as you'll see in entry-level sports cars. Too much power for some of us young people

That color looks pretty nice.

Good stuff.
which is now on hold due to the increase in fuel consumption standards lol. I wouldn't count on the 600 hp vette.

p.s. It was pretty gay of you for posting this in both the media share area and the other cars area. There are too many threads about vettes already on the forum.

hhaha the older memebers are on the web, they are just on the corvetteforum, as opposed to other sites... however I have been on some of the cruises, and some of those older guys like to enjoy some serious "spirited driving"..

but on a whole there are a good number of younger drivers with vettes that have been popping up

you can pick up a used vette pretty cheap now a days, so i would guess more younger drivers are getting thier hands on them. its still one of the best sports cars out there at any price, and they seem to keep making them better.

lol I can agree on that. Too bad im so far away from going FI. I need more power than 240 whp

You have a ton of power; but is it still enough to beat a C6 Z06? Not doubting you, but I haven't seen a modded Z take one down unless it has 550+ HP with some weight reduction. Those damn C6 Z06's have insane gearing.

I've seen them hit 10's with just DR's/slicks
