So many of you know my engine tends to run on the hot side. Sam@GTM has fixed that already with stronger fans, and I have pretty much all the cooling mods one can get.

When I was detailing my car one day, I saw that the oem bumper "cups" into where the intercooler would go, thus not letting any air go over the thick intercooler that I have with the extreme kit, into the Koyo radiator. So...getting the idea from the widebody Esprit kit in Japan, here's what I did...

Lowers my water temp by about 2-5 degrees celcius!

Whats funny is I thougth about doing something kinda like this today. (just to look cool since I lake turbos) But saw a vid on youtube some drift chicks z. Had two cutouts of the oem bumper that kinda resembled the c-west kit. It looked good as well.

Good idea. Seen to work for lots of other turbo cars so why not? Looks good too since you made it all fancy and not square on the 2 side cutouts.

 

thanks. I was wondering who would catch that... The ouside edge of the 2 side slits actually align with the inner edge of the headlights, so it all flows well with the car visually.

 

Hopefully we'll take care of that tomorrow

 

good job. Many DSM owners do the same thing to get more air in their huge intercoolers.
