Default Pics w/new Stillen S2 hood

Just got my Stillen Series 2 hood in yesterday!! While I've decided not to go with the S/C (gonna go APS TT soon), I loved the hood so much that I went ahead and got it. I installed it (great fit) and primed it flat black. Once I have the appropriate funds, I'm going to have it professionally painted flat black (along with the rear spoiler). I have to say, it's turning 10 times more heads on the street than before. I love the look!! I just need to get that APS TT soon so that I'm not all show and no go!!

Only way I'd put that hood on is if I had the Stillen S/C.

Why not color match it? It looks like a feeble attempt at fake carbon hood.

if you were planning of keeping it black i think you should have went CF on the hood and spoiler. still, it looks real nice and i'm sure it does turn heads.

I'm not trying to fake carbon fiber...I'm actually trying out how a flat black hood might look on PPW. My wing is carbon fiber; however, I'm not all that happy with the c/f look on PPW (thinking of blacking out the wing as well), hence the experiment with the hood. I can always go body color...just trying this out. If I had wanted to do a "feeble" attempt at c/f, flat black is the wrong color (that would be very lame anyways! )

I saw another PPW Z with a black hood last night...looked really good. He returned the admiration. We'll just see...as with everything, you can always change color or style. If anyone has pics of the Stillen S2 hood on a PPW, please post...that would help out my decision. Thanks!!

Not feeling it bro. The hood does not go with the lines of the Z.

i personally wouldnt do that to my PPW but if I had to, i would definately make sure that I got a cf or black front lip to compliment the rest of it.

imo it looks good. Paint the wing. Sure it looks good in person. Nice to be different sometimes.

what if you paint some of the hood white...brainstorm ideas because IMO the color change is to drastic and looks "cheap"

looks 800,000,000,000,000 times better than the series 1 hood, but i think it only really works with the SC
