Default Couple nice shots at work.......

happened to leave my camera in my car last night, so as i was leaving work, i took a few shots. the car is dirty and all, but i think the shots turned out okay. i don't know how to use Photoshop to get rid of the light pole in the second pic.

i am going to order some wheel spacers, just not sure what size. i am also thinking of some drop springs, but i don't want it too low and i don't want crappy ride quality. other than that, maybe the Veilside front lip and a small spoiler for the back.

jim

edit - any advice in terms of wheel spacer sizes and springs would be appreciated.

10-15mm spacers would be good.

not so much........i put two coats of Rustoleum Reflective paint on them, but they just kind of sparkle a tad, nothing too noticeable. cops dont seem to care though.

If you want slightly lowered stance with OEM-type ride quality then Hotchkis springs might do the trick. That's what I have on my '06 and difference in ride quality is not very noticeable. Plus I have 19's on now and it's only really bad when I hit a big bump or road seam or something.

I like the pic with the car reflection in the giant puddle. Good stuff man. Spacers and springs and you'll be in serious business.

(off-topic) By the way I was actually on Fort Drum about 1.5 years ago for work. We had to service a piece of equipment that we designed/sold years back for the steam turbine in the power plant on base. Went in the dead of winter (mid-February) and holy hell was it cold. Nice area up there!

nice, thanks for the info. they don't have smoked side markers for the 06's or 07's (as u probably know) so i was looking for alternative ways. i guess it's either ur way or bat overlays

thanks! i hate it up here man, too cold and too much snow, lol. nice in the summer.

i am thinking about the H Techs from Tein and some spacers to just push the wheels out a tad, but i kind of like flying rocks and such to go in the wheel wells and not the paint, we shall see. thanks for the tip.

you can take them off to tint them, but its a pain, i just masked the front off and went nuts with a rattle can.

nice shots indeed. I like how you were able to get the water reflection in some of them.

just remind them that they're from jersey and their opinions don't matter. lol.

dude, i have had my run ins with NJ cops, they can be ******. one found a baseball bat in my trunk before, pulls it out and asks what it's for. i tell him baseball, he says "yeah right". nevermind the mitt, cleats and a few random ***** in the trunk. lol.

so far the cops don't seem to care here, i also have my front plate in the window and not mounted. maybe the locals here just don't give a ****.
