The poor man's G37 is the new Altima Coupe...
The G37 is just a disappointment already the way it looks, and the way the transformed the car into a less aggressive car.

now what pisses me off even more is that the cars look very much the same from the side....

they are very similar, and I think it kind of ruins the exlusivity of the Z and G, having a new, cheaper look alike

the altima side mirrors has a signal light, the G37 doesn't even have it...

a lot of companys stick with similar looks...look at the charger, hemi c, new sebring, etc.

Whoah the resemblance is uncanny in that pic.

I've already had a few non-car-savvy friends tell me they saw the new "Nissan version of the G35" on the road.

I had to explain that it was the new Altima, different drivetrain layout etc...


I'm willing to bet the Nissan will make a pretty mean SE-R version of this coupe.

I would say the G37 is still a pretty attractive car, but it doesn't quite have the presence and distinctive lines of the G35c when it first hit our shores.

The G37 seems like just another nice luxury coupe.

 

Indeed the G looks more classier/less sportier than the current G.

 

The Altima looks to me like it should have been the 08 g35....

 

I noticed that too. Does sorta water down the exclusivity of the G37. Will have to see the G37 in person before I pass judgment though.

 

why do you think that? Nissan is competing the honda accord, thats why they made the coupe.

 

The poor mans G is a Z base. Why would you pick the Altima coupe over the Z? 306hp RWD?
