Pierre - it's just to release the wheel from the quick release without having to press the button. Simply put pressure on the backside of the ring and it depresses the button and the wheel comes out
I really wanting that Personal steering wheel w/ the quick release, but DAMN!! I was quoted around $750.00 for the entire set up.
Does that sound right to those that have it?

You gotta pay to play. You could of course go with a replica like NRG or some of those other knock off brands. Questionable R&D and testing, but it's not like a steering wheel/quick release is something you should be worried about.

Would never play w/ a knock off steering wheel and QR. Might be my last right turn....ever.
I'm probably gonna do it. The fuucking steering wheel had me at hello....

There is no difference between an NRG and Worksbell QR. Except for the name printed on the QR itself.

You are beyond wrong, but that's ok, whatever works for you.
We sell other NRG products (hood dampers for example), but not their quick releases or their hubs....even though there is WAY more profit for us in NRG vs Works Bell. It's not by accident.

I've looked for documentation on NRG's testing and R&D, but zero info is available on the web. Besides reverse engineering, I'm really curious what NRG does as far as safety testing.
