Bought a Nikon D40 and took a few pics of the Z
Here are a few pictures of my 350Z. I bought a Nikon D40 with a 2 lens kit. I'm still evaluating this. It's only a 6 megapixel camera. I was thinking of going with the D80 but wasn't sure if I could justify the cost.

These are great pics, if that's any encouragement at all. How did you do the B&W conversions?
Just my 2 cents -- I have cameras ranging from 2 mp to 15 mp and the one I stick with the most is my 6 mp D70 -- easy to use and outstanding results, particularly with raw files.

Thanks.... the reason I was thinking of POSSIBLY stepping up to the D80 was because I noticed when I took pictures of Boston today, words on billboards or even the Prudential building name were a little fuzzy. The D80 is about $400 more than the kit I bought. I didn't want to have a camera that I'd want to update so often.
Really I'm fairly new to this. The D40 only has 3 focal points. I still have 13 days left to decide.

It's a Veilside V1 Carbon Fiber Front Lip. I purchased it from Andy at Performance Nissan. Service and quality was excellent. Was about $550 I think. I forgot if that included shipping or not. They'll quote you though Good luck.
