I have a feeling the kid that lives on my road might know something about this... He's stolen numerous driveway reflectors and driveway l.e.d. lights from our driveway before.

According to what people say about me... Nobody likes me and everyone hates my car (80% of downtown is full of poverty and drugs)

Don't know why people would be accusing me of damaging my own car...

I insisted on an investigation from our local PD, but they just told me "not much an investigation could do here".

Claims adjuster will be here tomorrow to confirm the damage.

I'll be quoted on 03-05 parts and I think they'll want to tow my car to a shop so they can order the parts and install it all.
I had no idea 03-05 parts were so expensive.

 

The police and insurance comp are all saying it was most likely someone that I know fairly well for the fact that they didn't damage any serious parts of the car. Officer said "they might be trying to make a statement by doing this"

Just seems really strange that they managed to paint your tails and headlights with out getting the body at all. Almost like they taped it up or something. You should have atleast overspray.

Oh I mentioned earlier, my front bumper, hood, and fenders have overspray. Dripped a little down the right taillight onto the rear fender too.

The car was waxed a couple weeks back... So should some goo gone take it off alright? Acetone?


That's why I'll be getting new 03-05 parts right? I'm letting the insurance company handle the buying/labor

 

I agree, seems a little fishy, nothing on the body was damaged..hmmm...cuz when my car got messed up i had broken windows and bent body panels, and stereo ripped out...i just think its wierd...no offense...

Using GOO GONE should work. For the lights you can compound then down then re-wax them. Should come off. Good luck again!

 

I am going to have to agree with the feeling of fraud here...Any person who is a big enough *** to break into your garage to **** with your car is going to **** with your car...

Be careful buddy, there was a guy I graduated with that pulled something similar to this...His GF was stupid and said something and he ended up going to court for Insurance Fraud. Luckily, he stayed out of jail because of his age, but he ended up having to pay back the amount he tried to claim, something like 3-4x over though...Its too late to back out anyways, you're in it till the end now, but it seems like you're a pretty decent liar.

 

The consequences are much worse that than. He got off easy though. We had an old man that confessed later in court and got fined 250k. wages are garnished.

 

He was still a minor at the time, lucky for him...
