I'm scared of that corkscrew. I want to take a proper 3 day driver's course so I could do things like that. Nice shots!

Because it's expensive to live there or too far away?
Slick went from Vegas to Leguna.

They say that because of the Cork Screw, Laguna Seca is one of the most demanding and fearsome tracks in North America. Nigel Mansell said that in that corner you've got negative g, then lateral g, then MASSIVE positive g in a matter of a second. So kudos goes out to you because that corner takes alot of bravery.

Nice pics! Every racer needs at least one corkscrew pic to show the grandkids one day.

Oh, I just realized you were from Vegas. What was your best lap time so I can add it to the local Z club forums lap times database?

So. He can still have a lap time up there. So far I am the only one with a Laguna lap time and I am lonely.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I had a great time and the pictures did come out great!

Laguna Seca is definitely my favorite track of all time and even though it took a little over 1,100 miles of driving round trip to race on it, it was well worth it! The corkscrew is by far the coolest piece of track I've been on!

My car is basically stock (intake, exhaust, springs and sways on stock tires) but I think I pulled some pretty good laptimes! 1:53.69 was my fastest on the day.

Here are a few more pics of the cars that I was racing with:

Man! That Ferrari Challenge car and those Porsche GT3 RS were just out with us at California Speedway over the weekend too. I want their job! Or their lack of a job!

Pretty good time BTW .

CGT and GT3 RS oh wow. I gotta go to laguna seca this summer. I can't wait for the temps to go up. The only problem is deciding which car to take; Z or MR2 spyder w/snail.

Great pics, I need to make it down there one of these weekends. Wonder why that GT3 RS has the regular GT3 spoiler on it...
