i dont think its possible for the tips of an exhaust to get that red. even if you shoot out flames for several minutes straight, it wont turn as red as that.

 

That car had been racing for 24 solid hours!!

If you did not think it was possible then check the pics !! lol.

no ive seen turbo porsches and ferraris do that weve had a 300zx on the dyno with tubular exhaust manifolds that you could watch turn white during one run.

RJN Motor sport have one of the fastest NA 350z in the world! i still cant beleave the heat from that exhaust! crazy that its glowin red hot at the tips, ive seen loads of manifolds glow but not the tips!!!!!!

 

I wonder what set up they are running. I wish the 350 had a good place to put fog lights for some extra lighting on those late night mountian runs.

One of the guys from the Uk ownersclub had his NA motor built by RJN MOtorsport and he said there race motor uses 3/4 inch plenum spacer and havily modifed heads, the motor had to be drops on to solid engine mounts for the hood to clear the huge intake spacer! Oh and they use somthing called pectel engine management

I have only seen a couple car's exhaust get that hot...Porsche Turbo...a FD only to the thermocoupler though...

 

why do ppl say things like "i dont beleave the pics of the exhaust" ??

Is that an HR Z? The hood has the hump in it. I wonder what mods are in the motor.

 

I've been following that red/silver Z on Evo Magazine for some time now; hands down the best car magazine out there!!! Check your local Barnes 'n Noble and you'll see what I mean. BTW RJN's stuff is ligit as they built Evo Magazine's Z.

Those tips are buttfugly. But I guess I cant talk **** about a 350hp NA Z.

cmon jus seems a lil fake doesnt it... for some 1 that doesnt know much about cars that kinda seems impossible. just my 2 cents

 

o its very possible ive seen a porsche non turbo at the 10 lemans race with hot enough tips they were glowing like that and melting the paint and stickers off the cf
