Default pic request PPW with flat black lip....

looking for any PPW's with unpainted or flat black lip Cwest, VS, Nismo, replica trying to get a feel if i should paint the whole lip, paint the side and leave the middle black with the grill, or keep the whole thing unpainted so I don't have to worry about those dreaded rock chips...

Id stick with gloss black or color match. Flat black makes it look like you cant afford paint. Nice idea, but looks cheap IMO.

Main reason for keeping it flat is cuz i don't want to fork out the $$$ for a gloss black if it's just going to be chipped by rocks/debris...

Consider having a clear bra put on after you get it painted and before its mounted. Makes all the difference in the world. A good shop should be able to custom cut a piece to fit for you.

How much does that extra process usually run?

This will vary depending on the # of shops in your area that perform this service and also if you are looking at a lip kit or full bumper replacement. Im guessing ballpark will be anywhere from $200-400.
