Hate to break it to you, but those pics are terrible. Lighting is way off, especially the interior shot.

i dont think its the lack of a tripod, but the picture is overexposed a lot in the background, but the car is barely lit.

to the OP - next time tune down your exposure compensation and get a nice sized flash to illuminate your car. OR you can get a nice bright flashlight and "paint" the car while the shutter is open.

you have too much contrast going on. The difference from highlight to shadow is too great and simply not within the range of your camera.

Like what was said before expose for the highlights and kick in light with some light source.

You can also try shooting when there is more light, dusk time, open shade during the day. You can still get a moody look by adjusting exposure. Dark cars are hard to keep detail and still have the image and background look good.
