The camera doesn't give you that effect from the lights....Its usually a star burst filter, or I call them " twinkie " filters. I usually only like 5 or 6 star filters. Any more than that looks weird IMO.

Don't get me wrong tho, I like the shots...esp. the B & W.

To the OP....are you going to leave that space for the Nissan or Z badge empty ? I think it would look great if yoou got a Black pearl emblem to keep your black on black theme.

 

should get the nissan badge to fill up that crease or fill it in...kinda looks incomplete right now.

 

I have a black emblem on their now, just finished painting it today. I agree it looks a ton better now that I have it on. I'll take a new pic and post it later.

That star effect is actually from me setting the shutter to stay open longer.

Hmm...cool that your camera doesn't flare more when your opening your shutter longer for the exposure.

How did you paint the badge ? Glossy black or matte ?
