Just got done. I also added the Ballcock Shank Washer for the finisher ($1.69). I didnt ever think I was going to get the stock **** off. Ended up using a plumbing wrench with a towel wraped around it, sames goes for the shaft with vice grips.
Enjoy!
ps. evo-r please feel free to use these pics if you like. These are a few of the ones I took.

^ To answer some of the questions.
It took me about 20mins to get the stock **** off. Due to trying different tools. I read on here about using the oil filter remover with the rubber band, didnt grip enough, so finally I found the biggest plumbing wrench I could find and wraped a towel around the shifter and finally broke it loose. Stock **** is still in perfect condition also.
^ About price, I got it for 110 shipped from a member here who used it a couple weeks and decided to sell it. The **** was still brand new, not even a single blemish.

Update!
Over the weekend I noticed that the **** would get alittle warm, but not hot enough to the touch to really bother your hand from shifting. And when it was warm, the air conditioning in the car would have it cool within a few minutes. And it feels great when shifting also, gives you a little shorter throw.

It looks really nice though, been thinking about one for a while. If it doesn't get too hot, I think I might get one
