but thats the point... if its not functional then its not a diffuser. its starting a thread like this: "Got my new bbk kit" then showing pics of the fake bbk plastic covers off ebay.

I got a ppw with the hks and honestly I'm considering this. Looks good dude.

Yes, but had I started a thread saying a few pictures of my new rear add on, a few of you would've agreed, and then people would've been saying "blah blah blah, diffuser, blah blah blah". I didn't think I would offend people by calling it a diffuser. Although I guess a "rear under spoiler" according to JP aerodynamics'(this is a replica, so don't jump all over me telling me how it's a fake....I know what it is) website would've been more appropriate. Plenty of people refer to these as a non function rear diffuser though. I agree that you are right about it not being a "diffuser" technically, but now that I've rambled on, my point was that I don't need to read three seperate posts about it not being a diffuser, when I already responded to and agreed with the first person to bring it up. Again, not trying to be a jerk, I just was excited about getting it on and wanted some responses from people about what they thought. Had I posted this in an "aerodynamics" section of some sort, then I would welcome the corrections with the terminology I used, but I didn't think about it in the "media share" section. Please no more arguing. I agree with you guys, and if you think I'm a total idiot for putting this on my car, then we agree to disagree I guess. One last thing though, I in no way view this piece as being on the same level as fake plastic BBK covers. /end rant

love the color and the mud guard!

The dark grey imo looks better then black. It's like the stock color on the Murano's "diffuser" piece on the rear bumper

no, none yet. Those were the only pictures I have taken with the diffuser so far. I would take some farther away ones today, but the car is a tad dirty and I don't want to post pictures of a dirty car. I'm going to clean it up for a local car forum bbq this weekend though, so I'm sure I'll get some better pictures of it in the next day or two.

How much work did you have to do to the DIFFUSER to get it looking good? Mine was super porus and cracked and stuff when I got it.

Glad that you didn't go black (or cf), like EVERYONE does.
And I don't see why you'd take off the mud guards. The car looks fine. I think without them the rear of your car would look to 'centered'.
You need something on the ends to even it out.

Kinda like how the TOP Secret diffuser has the side pieces. Yes, I know it's functional and not just for looks, but I must say it would look silly without anything on either end.

Looks awesome. Lowering it would be a good move.

How much did you pay for the diffuser? I went to the website, but "checkout" was disabled for this piece.

I had a friend who does some paint work get it all prepped for me. It still has a little bit of pitting that you can only see if I tell someone it's there and they get within 1-2 feet of it. But he said it was in kind of rough shape. I would've probably gotten killed on paying someone to prep it, but I got charged $60 to prep and paint it from my friend.

It's already lowered 1.2" on Tanabe gf210's. I couldn't really drive on the terrible Michigan roads with it much lower. I think it's just the angles I took some of those pictures at that make it not look as low as it really is.

I payed $240 shipped for it. I believe they still have the sale going on these through May. If I remember correctly, once the sale is done, they are $300 shipped.

This diffuser is actually functional with the stock OEM exhaust or Nismo. The shape of both exhausts acts as a diffuser for the car and with this add on, it creates a smooth flow with directional fins that will create added down force at higher speeds. Thanx for sharing your pix. At last, you answered the burning question, "will this diffuser fit over HKS exhaust?" BTW, looks really nice!
