nice lookin ride tho! i had black spoon wheels on my old civic, and got so sick of people asking me why i had stock steel wheels on my car, that i dont think i will ever put black wheels on a car again. but thats just me cuz i hate hearing people whine about my car ;D
adding a bunch of carbon fiber will set off the whole car. DO IT.

With that being said, I wonder if nothing's been said b/c painters just paint right over the pre-primed surface and don't care about end quality. My guy sanded, filled, re-primered with 2 coats, painted, and even did a final buff for me after it was on the car. I emailed Ken at Shine, I'll see what he says. Maybe I expected too much when I heard fitment was so great and assumed finish was as well?
As for CF, not going to have any on the car. I like it on other colors b/c it sets contrast. If not done right on black, it just looks like primered body panels from far away. If done right though it can look sweet as well.

yah... specially when they get a lot of panels done in CF but different weave patterns.
im actually thinkin about going FLAT BLACK. not for a lil while, but eventually i think it would look tight, keeping the door handles silver and my mercury silver GTS perfectly match the doorhandles, so yah.
i just need to wax the crapola outta my car now is i can finally post pics. ive never posted pics and ive been a member for years ;x

Wheeldude on the other hand. A+ for customer service! Highly recommended them!

Love the car and it looks great however, rota's suck my bawls... get rid of them... they bend like there is no tomarrow. I have a friend who has to replace his every year cuz they bend so much when you hit a pothole

To OP, very clean set up... love the black lids with the v.2... very aggressive. I noticed you are lowered on hotchkis springs, I'd get a camber kit on your suspension mod because if I remember most people who had hotchkis springs went lower than .6/.8 I believe they said they hit 1.0/1.2 so just to save you early wear and tear on the tires...
To engineNERD: I've talked to a couple of guys from SHINE, they are very busy, one reason the set up is taking long is because Makito, who owns SEVEN APPLE (Shine's painting partner) is moving into the same shop... so they are setting up their shop as well as his painting booths. So you're best bet would be to call instead of E-mail. You have to remember, they probably have hundreds of e-mails besides your asking about quotes on bumpers... so you fall into the mass of waiting e-mails. Ken, the owner, from what I've been told is pretty much the only one setting stuff up @ Shine... so cut him some slack.
Again, to the OP, beautiful set up, I wanted to do that setup, but unfortunately, I'm having personal probs that prevent me from modding my ride, if not for the probs, I would've have the same setup with CF lips on the front and sides (Boneout from Shine was supposed to sell his Shine V.2 kit to me) with a blitz lip wing... IMO the V.2 kit is pure sex
