Well figured I would update with what has been done lately for the beginning of 2011

December of 2008 I let a bodyshop talk me into doing a widebody on my G35.
That began a downhill spiral where my car would be off the streets for 2yrs to the date.

Here are the pictures from when I first started stripping down the car

The bodyshop wouldn't start until I got my 360 Forged wheels which didn't come in until June, 2009

so in the March, 2009 I decided to upgrade some other things like EMS and Gauges

April, 2009 got me some APS 3.5" downpipes which I heat wrapped and added bungs for my widebands

June, 2009 Finally got my wheels from 360 Forged

July, 2009 I bring the car back to bodyshop so they can start working on it now that I have the wheels

Car just sits around in the bodyshop always coming up with excuses summer comes and goes so I decide to do something to keep my mind busy.

Oct, 2010 I decide to start ordering parts for a engine build and start tearing down a motor I had from a friend that had a spun bearing with the help of a friend

March, 2010 I start assembling the motor after the machine shop has done the machining and worked the heads with new valves/springs/seats and a mild valve job

April 2010 I finish putting the motor together got my new BBK

I go back and forth a few times to the bodyshop and the car is getting minimal work done. June, 2010 I tell them either get it done by July, 2010 or I will get the car out of there and they could deal with the law. I pulled out the car end of June a week before the deadline and the car still sat the same as always.

July, 2010 My friend gives me a spot on one of his lifts for me to pull the motor and put in the new one

While the motor was out I had a local shop spray the engine bay

Car sitting back in my driveway after installing the motor

Now I started legal proceeding against the old bodyshop and started looking for a new body shop.

August, 2010 took the car to get a break in tune

Nov, 2010 found a new bodyshop local to me and they started working on the car. They decided to kick the FG fenders to the curb and do metal work on the stock fenders

December, 2010 Car is done finally after a 2yr ordeal thank to my new bodyshop

Right now I got most of the interior back together and it's winter so once springs comes
I put this bad boy on the road break in the motor and turn up the boost and reinstate Meth

Wow nice work. Do you have to take off the front bumper/side skirts to take off your front wheels?

Great thread...just read at work and very much enjoyed it. Awesome to see the full evolution of another's car over so many years, down to each part ever purchased.

The G looks sick, VERY aggressive and uncommon to G's typical look, but i so much love it.

One question, why did you ditch the Rotoras for the Stoptechs? Both appear to be 14" rotors all around 6/4 setup, why the change?

Stoptech has more pad selection and better customer service.

Have you ever tried dealing with Rotora customer service?

Try going to the Rotora website and see what happens

Thanks everyone for the compliments
