I turned to the dark side....
... not really. My brand new 2008 LS3 which has a better ride and interior, more hps which I haven't tested since there is a 500 mile break-in period. The drive is really comfortable, much more than the Z, but the steering is loose almost like driving a luxury car. The cockpit is a lot better than the one I had (2003 Z06) and idling noise on the old one is like a concrete mixer, but not anymore, much more quieter and faster than my old one. Shifting is many times better than the old one, little better than the Z, very easy to engage. The thing I don't like is the push button to get in and out of the car. Overall, very happy with it. If I had a choice between a Z or a Vette, I take the Z for better everyday use and more relaxing but luckily, I didn't have to make that choice since I got a deal that is hard to beat. Z my Vette, thanks for looking...

That interior in the vette is far from better. At least the 06+ Z has a better interior than the Vettes painted silver plastic everywhere and hollow dash, etc.
