I work for an advertising agency/media production company as a video editor/motion graphics artist.

Last week our creative director came to me with a project for a new client. The client is a Nissan dealership here in Scottsdale, AZ. I was to create a television spot for them.

As I was working on the spot I thought.... maybe I ought to "sneak" a shot mf my car in there..... I hopped onto my350z.com and grabbed a pic from my gallery and proceeded to composite the shot of my car in the spot.

Did you ghetto rig the letter "A" together, or do you actually have the Fairlady font? if you do, I would have your children for a copy of it.

actually I did. I have several Nissan fonts, but nothing that had an A that looked like the Z.

I do have Nissan logos and other branding elements in hi-res .eps format. If anyone wants them email me off list

I've seen this commercial on t.v. several times and never once noticed the Z, and I was paying close attention specifically looking for the Z. Hmmm...I'll have to pay closer attention next time. I just saw it the other day, so I imagine it's still playing.

I just saw this commercial twice this evening, and I'm sorry to report that your car is not in the commercial. It was a good try, I suppose.

 

there are 3 spots running in rotation. mine is only in one spot.

certain channels are running certain spots. I wasn't able to make my shot fit in all 3 so I had to cut it from the other 2

Maybe next month when a new round of spots come through
