I hear ya. I asked for a quote since they were having a 50% sale, to get my 05 headlights painted and their R8 mod and they quoted my $865. I almost had a mini-stroke there. I guess if their products were priced more reallistically then they wouldn't have to have sales everyday.

Sorry about that guys. It was Mr. Zipps that the threads I remembered were about not Cesar. I've edited my post so he doesn't get any negative advertising from my mistake.

Thats funny Keith, considering when I sent a follow up email you said everything was in order and didnt mention of any problems.

For the others listening, we had a problem with his lenses showing some types of stress cracks after the service, and replaced them twice with no questions asked.

Now this is not the time to get off track, just didnt appreciate this one comment after I have done so much for you.

The fogging took a couple weeks to develop just like the original service.
The order of events was
1) moisture in lights, fogging began to build up on lenses withing weeks.
2) replacement lense developed stress cracks within days.
3) started from scratch with a used headlight...same problem as #1

to say service and cooperation were adequate would be an understatement, but the continuing recurrence of problems makes your methods appear questionable.

This "fogging" seemed to be a result of the paint not being 100% cured.

Even though it was so faint that it was hard to see in pictures, I agreed to fix it no problem, knowing a fix was a new lens. In person it wasnt a big deal to me. knowing the outter lenses fade and wear down from the sun and other elements, but I did right for the customer and got a new lens since he wasnt satisfied.

Must of been a curse of bad luck because some odd stress cracks appeared on this brand new lenses when he got the lamps back.

So another lamp was purchased, this time a used one since I found it in great shape, and now we are hearing about more "fog".

Im curious if this is from a bad seal which is causing actual condensation, or just something that was on the used lens thats causing the outside of the lens to fade and look foggy?

In either case I just wanted to fill the public in.

As always keith you can send the light back if you feel it doesnt meet your standards.
