Even though it was so faint that it was hard to see in pictures, I agreed to fix it no problem, knowing a fix was a new lens. In person it wasnt a big deal to me. knowing the outter lenses fade and wear down from the sun and other elements, but I did right for the customer and got a new lens since he wasnt satisfied.

Must of been a curse of bad luck because some odd stress cracks appeared on this brand new lenses when he got the lamps back.

So another lamp was purchased, this time a used one since I found it in great shape, and now we are hearing about more "fog".

Im curious if this is from a bad seal which is causing actual condensation, or just something that was on the used lens thats causing the outside of the lens to fade and look foggy?

In either case I just wanted to fill the public in.

As always keith you can send the light back if you feel it doesnt meet your standards.
I would send it back if I had confidence that the problem would be resolved and didn't mind doing without my car for another two weeks.

Exotic car or beater, we all want our cars to look as good as they can. I can understand where you are coming from, and I also understand its a pain to ship your lights over for a fix that you seem to lost confidence in.

And Keith, the only reason I knew it was you that had made the post, was because this hadn't happened with any other 350z owner. I remember dealing with you personally so when I read that post I figured it must had been you.

It has though happened previously on a subaru, and since the issue, we take full precautions and always fully cure the paint before they get dropped back in the lights for reassembly. This way no paint will cause any haze or foggyness from the paint not being fully cured, which I think was the cause of the problem in the first place.

lightwerkz is great, i went to caesar for my halos and was 40 mins late past closing and he waited without giving me sh*t... he also gave me advice for doing my headlights myself. great guy great service.

Cincity is great too, ive dealt with nick and he's also a great guy but the prices have jumped a bit since they first came on the scene...

All these Cincity Fanboys....

Ive been in contact with this company before and they have been helpful.

But when I visited their site, I came to find out they copied text directly from my site and put it on their homepage.

I allowed them some time to remove it and decided not to post about it here and ruin their credibility, but I think that should give you some food for though when you decide which company you decide to send your lamps too.
