I've taken my car well over 100mph numerous times and no problems. With the lip and splitter/diffuser combo; it helps strengthen the front. I took it out because I wanted a mouth in the front just in case I decide to go FI. Also I didn't like having a "grill" in the front of my car, it just looks awful to me.....I know others beg to differ, but oh well

Ahh i see thank you very much, sorry i'm still new in these things. I want to go with that same lip only in black like the first time you had, but i didn't know it was made out of carbon. Just to make sure and i know this may be stupid, but is carbon and carbon fiber the same? If so a lot of people tell me not to go with cf for the lip, because they crack very easily. I know your lip hasn't cracked yet, but do you think it will crack easily. Sorry i have lots of questions haha.

I got it straight from the manufacturer since its right near my place. I'm not sure what the brand is, but you can probably get the same OR similar ones at your local Pep Boys, Kragen, or Autozone. It's only 3mm so it shouldn't be hard to find.

- Yes
- Yes
- Depends on the speed, angle, and what you hit. I don't daily drive mine and I take my car to roads that I'm only familiar with.

Yup, I'm changing the look for the front as well as other parts around my car. 2010 is going to be a fun year!

car overall is very sick. only two gripes. hood paint match if off. rear looks busy and plain at the same time. no spoiler then all sorts of busy at the bottom just doesnt work well imho. the wheels, side and front are money.

That's the tricky part about IF. It's a color shift paint; there's never a definite shade all the way across. Any change in light will mix the color. As for the rear, I've been thinking about putting on an SBC, but it looks too simple for me to pull it off.

EDIT: Oh an another thing, I just remembered. The hood is not as shiny because its full of dust, lol. My Z has been sitting in the garage for over a month.
