I see where you are getting at with the clear, but if you see my headlights in person, there's a matching amber bulb inside. It's faintly noticeable, but I prefer it over the clear. If my car was white or silver, then clear all the way. Otherwise, I'll keep them OEM because the "clear" looks more like white and it being such a light color, it stands out like a sore toe with my IF IMO.

As far as shaving it off, if I did that then more than likely I would have to fill that area with canards (which I don't want to). That's the reason why I chose the USDM version. My main focus is to keep my car looking like a "street" car. I'm still not done with this as I have still a long ways to go, but as I add or replace parts you'll see my plans come together more smoothly

I like the aggressive look, but unfortunately this is as far as it will go up front. I have some new goodies, but I plan on breaking my car out for the Spocom Super Show this summer so it will be on a DL for now.

After that I work on detail piece by piece. I do my best to make sure the curves flow soundly, lines aren’t obstruct, and the car “as a whole” is synchronized; not just areas or certain parts.
This sums up why I'm not a fan of mixing and matching body kit pieces. Though individual pieces look good by themselves, it doesn't mean they will all look good together and that the lines will flow well together. Again well done sir! I am dispointed in that pic of your car in the dark..... I'm use to high quality pics from you

Same here. I see a lot of cars with mix matching pieces and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not saying my style is better or good; that's simply all it is....."my style." I know, I've been slacking on some pix. If I don't wipe my car down or bring my lighting gear, I just point and shoot

My best advice is take your time shopping around and use photo shop as much as you can for exterior parts. It was my best tool!

The last piece of the puzzle for my exterior just came in and its on my car I just have to set aside some time to look for a good place to shoot her. I'm pretty much done with the exterior. I don't want to keep adding stuff...the last thing I want to do is over due my Z despite my shopping addiction lol.

I've been going back and forth with the idea of an na build or getting a super charger. The only thing that's holding me back is the fact that I couldn't get my BBK's this year so thats on my budget for next year.

get a SC, thats what im saving for now Nice useable/linear power increase, cool intercooler, nice sound, and is relatively cheap (easy install, no need for built motor, somewhat reliable at least compared to Turbo setups from what i hear)

Hey what's up Juan, how did you change your username? Anyways, yeah SC is a possible route but I'm not 100% sure. We'll see how things pan out; I'm really thinking of keeping my Z as a simple street car and might invest in an NSX down the road. How dope would that be to have an NSX in my garage next to my 350z

Looks good! I have an idea what route I want to go if I get one, but we'll see if I can get my wife to give me the positive "ok" stamp . If the weather is good I'm planning to go for a drive tomorrow so hopefully it all works out.

NOOOoooo that means you'll soon ignore the Z and pay more attention to the nsx lol jk that would be pretty baller. I plan to do the same with my Z, a nice street car/show car with some power to back it up (just enough to where it still feels like it came out the factory that way). I just wish i had a DD like you so i can baby it instead of trashing it every day

and i asked one of the admins to change my username
