Man the more I see your car with the gt-fs the more it grows on me. Much more aggressive looking. Put a nice bbk behind those wheels then your good.

BBK would be nice, but I don't see that happening anytime soon

Update: looks like my spacers won't be in today, mail came and nothing on my front door

you dont even need a bbk, just go with some oem brembos and that itself will finish it off. they can go for a decent price if you look hard enough

I was considering that. A lot of people don't know that our 06's already come with relatively big brakes. Here are the specs according to years/models:

2003-2005
Front: 11.7" x 0.95" | Rear: 11.5" x 0.63"

2006-2007
Front: 12.6" x 1.10" | Rear: 12.1" x 0.63"

Brembo Brakes (track and grand touring model)
Front: 12.8" x 1.18" | Rear: 12.7" x 0.87"

I really like how the front wheels are sitting right now.

I just noticed, while looking at your last pic, that you added the Nismo badging on the front bumper lip. It might be just me, but think that kind of takes away the "cleanliness" of your car.

meh its all about the look imo. brembos is a one piece caliper vs oem is a two piece. but then again your car is done already in my book...love the new pics.

I just picked up some used brembos just for looks for a really low cost. It was definately more of a cosmetic change but I'm sure it will help performance a bit. But the brembos add a little pop behind the wheels. You're right about the size. I compared my 08 rotors compared to the brembos and there is only a very slight difference.

I really like the brembo's too. Stop Tech's are nice as well, but I'd be just as happy with Brembo's.

That 2mm extra up front sealed the deal for me. As for the Nismo badge, I actually had three different ones, but I wanted one that looked like my OEM burger badge up front so I opt to go with these since it has the same texture and color (chrome). The other two were the Nismo V2 emblem (aluminum) and a black matte badge. Both stood out too much. Its funny how you just noticed it now after more than a year with it. Not many people do either which is why I like it. It doesn't stick out, but if you really look its tastefully displayed.

Yeah, I really don't need anything on my car right now which is why I won't be seeing a true BBK anytime soon. It used to be something on the horizon for me, but now its something I can live without.

Ha, in my defense, not many of your pictures show that portion of the bumper clearly. How about a close up shot of the front bumper with the badge in focus?

BTW, what is that square hole in the wall for - some kind of vent?

Looks perfect! love it. I don't think the new wheels make it sit too high at all, they fill in the wheel well perfectly. Only suggestion is to get some stealth bulbs turn signals in your headlights to get rid of that yellow/orange spot in them!

I definitely like the height right now as opposed to when I was slammed. As for lighting that's something I never mess with on my car. I would rather use that money in another area of my Z. I actually like the amber bulb in my headlights. It matches my amber reflectors.

Yeah Chris, that's a vent. Some garages have windows others have vents and I know there are also some without any ventilation. I know someone who has a garage without any vents or windows and when summer time hits you can do some serious baking in the garage

^ When I lived in Dallas, the garage didn't have any vents and yeah, it's ridiculous how hot it gets inside there. Leaving the garage doors open don't help much and I had to run multiple fans to circulate the air.

Any news on the rear spacers?

It came in today, I'll have pix up. I noticed it is MUCH lighter than the Project Kics which I like since it will add less stress. I'm hoping to have some time this week to install it

I'm sure one of these days I'll get to the brakes, but for now its not even something I look to upgrading anytime soon. I used to think I "had" to get a true BBK to set things off but now its not really important to me. My build is a very slow and gradual one so I'll get there in time

Finally! I'm hoping to install these this weekend. Anyone know if Ichiba just sells their studs? I have 5mm spacers up front and want to switch them out with longer studs for a little extra bite.
