I have to make a decision now, how my car will look like. I love two type of "styling" 1. blacked/murdered out 2. carbon left open with gold rims for a black Z. Which you can see in the pictures below(thanks taytaythatsme04(goldwheels) and Kal_el(murdermaster))

I have:
-07 metallic black 350z
-blacked out housing
-sf-challenge +28/+23 9.5/10.5 19" DIAMOND black 265/295ps2
-red rotora 6/4 piston
-Jp type N front, INGS N-Sec sides, Mastergrade rear diff carbon( I will leave it in carbon for sure !)
-seibon cf hatch, seibon 07 ts hood with sparco hoodpins
-topspeed 3"
-H&R suspension
-recaro pole positions
-doing hrturbo in some months

everything, except brakes and hood/hatch(on ship) lays in my garage.
So now I have to make a decision:

1. Black this ***** out, sprays metallic black on all carbon( except the hood vents and my diffusor) ..like Kal_el style

or

2. leave carbon open, buy mastergrade a/b pillar cf replacements and hood overlay cf. and spray these sf-challenges gold. like taytaythatsme04's car.

or

DISCUSS

I dont know both "styles" are not from this world.

I say paint it and leave the vents in the hood carbon with a fade and possibly a part of the hatch. Unless you do the a pillars, roof...etc all carbon, I would paint it.

And if you leave it carbon, get that stuff clear coated. That gel coat is not going to last very long. It has many pores in the surface.

Im a big fan of carbon (just look at my car), keep the fiber exposed.

thought about the same with the hatch. but what could be left in carbon? maybe this little "plate" under the window? .. where the rear wiper arms is hold on.

leave teh face black, and dip the lip in gold or gold chrome.

 

I think that both are very sick but carbon is going to cost alot more and it wont make much difference weight wise. Murderd looks sick but its just everywhere, i mean you can find a murderd chevy aveo you know? I say if money isnt a problem id go carbon.

 

I say paint it and leave some of the CF exposed, but my opinion is biased. With your mods list, I'm sure it will turn out nice either way.
