sorry to be a pain in the *** but is the standard flat silver lighter or darker? I'm considering these wheels for my DB but i don't want to go as dark as gunmetal but i would like the inner rim color to be a little darker than than polished lip.

Slightly darker...

Its just a totally different finish than the polished lip, so you get enough of a difference...
