So I just got my Z last friday and well my dad called me this afternoon and asked if I wanted to race lol I didn't know what he was talking about until he said he traded in the mustang and got a new 2008 350z Base, pretty much just like mine except its blue and has the new hood. So now there are 2 Z's in my family.

Well, I'll be damned OP, I just noticed you are from my home town... Haven't been back there in a hot minute... Congratulations on the new purchase. To save ya some time, just compare your dad's Z33 specs (VQ35HR) to your Z33 specs (VQ35DE). I have had both, now own the HR and it is a slight improvement over the previous models, and it is slighty quicker to boot from the factory... Enjoy the new additions to the family!
