It's a tinting paint mixed with some candy sprayed by a gun. Was done by a painter here locally for $65. I like how it came out.

Are those last pics with the lights on? Iam assuming they arent on...at least I hope they arent....in for shots with lights on.

 

I wouldnt have painted over the expensive taillights but the signals look pretty good. I say it would have looked better with just those tinted.

 

Lights are not on. I still get LOTS of light output from the tailights but the turn signals have been drastically reduced. I'll post pictures of the lights on later tonight.

I always loved the contrast the tail lights had with black cars. +1 on looking better before.

uh wtf...you know it probly took longer to tape them then to just take them off and paint them right?

 

I would have left the tails since they are the 06 LEDs, is it permanent?

 

To do it right, use VHT Nightshades Spray Tint. It allows way more light to pass vs normal paint.
