Default __Black Roof Overlay on PPW__

I just got my roof overlay(thanks to bluebatmobile) installed a few days ago and figured I should show off some pics of it.

Iam more than happy with it. From the side it makes the car seem even lower since the roof essentially looks cut off due to it being black on a white Z. Which I love because the lower the sexy to me

Let me know what ya guys think.

HAHA! Oh boy I dont even want to talk about the first time I tried it but since you ask...

Lets just say as long as you keep the surface your applying it to lathered in soapy water and you have a friend to give you a hand when you need it ,your fine.

On the other hand you can try it yourself, miss a part of your roof when soaking it down...dont ask how. Try applying it by your self and having it fold on itself like a damn book. Second times a charm.

I'v got Tein basic coilovers, running 275/40 in the rear with 20mm spacers.

Glad you noticed...I was hoping people would

I think the first shot shows the stance of the above specs the best...at least to me.

Looks great on a white car, should come like that stock

Is that a 1 or 2 piece overlay? My buddy had the 2 piece overlay and the seam down the middle bugged him so much he got it painted lol

The overlay looks great- drop looks great, push those fronts out with some spacers also and you'll be all set.

Its a 2 piece...theres a very slight seam and being as attentive to detail as I am its kinda bugging me as well. I want the option of going back to white at some point so I'll either A. Just keep it or B. Go to a viynl shop and get a full one piece..But Im in no rush.

cheshire: as for those front spacers..Im still thinking about 10mm's..My drop puts me around 1/2" below the top of my tire on the front so I dont really know how far is ok to go before I start rubbing everytime I turn.

Looks great! I got mine done a while back. Just remember to constantly wipe it down/clean it. It gets dirty very easily and you begin to see water spots if you don't clean it off.

looks great man i have mine painted black and love it... but i was wondering how well does it fit on the sides. Is there any gap where you can see the white or does it fit good nice an even around all the edges???

Yea I noticed that today when I wiped it down. I gotta be sure to catch the water spots before they stain...might be a little bit of a hassel.

You just need to be sure and do the front half first. This way when you end up having extra length you can tuck it in that gap between the trunk window and roof. As for the sides it was a tad to short. Heating it up causes it to stretch so it really wasnt a problem.

Thanks guys.
