Volks were looking a bit rough from the salt on the roads in the UK and the result of taking the car to a "Hand Car wash" a year ago... So they needed a refurb...
Decided on something away from the norm and went for the "Phantom" look. Havnt decided to do the lip yet or to paint the calipers in red so there could be a version 2. Gloss powdercoated for a decent amount of protection and then finnished with a matt overcoat... Should be easy to take care of now!
From the reaction so far they seem to be a bit marmite, but am well happy with the results.

BBK, possibility, got some engine mods to do first... Smoked tails... Hmmm not sure, if I do get the pinstripe on the lip in red I think it would coordinate with the other red in and around the car! Window tint is on the legal limit for the UK, can still tint the rear and 1/4's but I would want them all the same as think it looks a bit gash if you have different tints... need the rear doing to get the roof to "flow"
