Default One shot: Mock Magazine Cover

Well today I had magazine cover due for my Lighting Theory class here at Brooks Institute, so last night I went out and did a little shoot with my Z and here is the final result... Let me know what you think. And we could only use one light on the subject, otherwise there would have been more lights.

Did you even attempt to properly spell things?

The picture itself looks good.

LOL! Yeah I know, i shot that around midnight and did the editing at like 2:00 in the morning. Plus I'm a horrible speller, so it was not a good combination.

"Awsome skyline powered Z"

"Interview with the ownezr"

"Can desplay until 10/1/09"

Honestly, if I were your professor, you wouldn't get better than a C-... The picture is nice, but that front plate crammed into your windshield isnt helping the shot at all. It would have took you 2 seconds to remove it and make the picture 10x better. The spelling errors just make you look silly, any one in college should be able to spell a few simple words. Now that I think about it, maybe I'd give you a D. That's just awful. No attention to detail.

Well like I said above it was 2:00 in the morning last night when I did this. And it was just a mock, so if it were a legit final version it would be spelled correctly. And there would be a bunch of things I would have changed if I were to do this again. I would definitely use more than one light source for the shoot. This by the way was a composite, I only had one speed light to work with so had to composite the two images to make it work. And I would definitely have taken out the license plate if I were to do it again.

Thanks dude. I do suck at spelling. lol. Anyway that front lip is the "Seibon VS Front Lip." One of my favorites that doesn't cost a fortune.

All good man... I thought it was the final version you turned in. Its not a bad pic, just giving you some criticism on how to make it a bit better for when you actually turn it in.

i dont understand people that do that with their front plate... doesnt seem very smart.. what if you get in an accident and that jagged object (the license plate that was stuck into the dash) comes flying at your or your passengers neck?? bye bye head... (im exagerating but that thing could/will def do some damage....)
