Default Northwest back roads

In the last few months i've been checking out some local back roads.
To be honest, i never knew washington had so many good roads and so many beautiful sights.

The crazy rock formation below is thought to have been caused by the collision between a glacier and a river of lava.
The cliffs are hundreds of feet high.

This was one of the most breathtaking roads ive ever driven on. My friend and I were cruising along through the woods.
Suddenly the road just opened up into a huge left hand sweeper on the side of a cliff. We could see for miles and miles.
So we had to stop and take some pictures.

Mt St. Helens. Erupted in the 80's. Breathtaking sight and home to many great roads.
It used to be mountain shaped, but then it blew up.

Just some of the twisties on the way up to Mt. St. Helens.

Please ask before using these photos, a couple of them were taken by my friend. Thanks!

Check out Novelty Hill, near Redmond/Duvall some time. It's short, but man is it fun.

Same with Issaquah-Fall City rd, and Ames Lake Rd. Both great roads.
