Default UK JDM - Project ConfuZED???

Hey up

Although i've been a stock member for a while i have recently upgraded to the old premium membership

Based in the UK ive been selecting and adding parts for a while and started to finally put them on

Started off with a stock 2002 JDM - Touring model (leather and bose) and it all begun. I added Brembo's, Bilstein b14 coilovers, a splash of carbon. Advan 18'ss Model T (on the car when I bought it) amongst other things.

Although I have done everything myself the only thing I havent touched is body work related.

Unfortunately I took a gamble and with delivery of my front splitter and after been given a delivery date, i booked it in with the bodyshop with about a week to spare for contingency. Unfortunately it has been delayed in Japan for another month but even so I went ahead with the rest of the kit.

Finished results so far - front is on route hopefully - Crappy phone pics sorry full shoot once its complete but its had - Black roof, smoothed rear hatch, 370z indicators with JDM sides welded and blended up (side indicators are compulsary here) Ings LX rear moulded in, Vertex style sides.

good work! I could imagine all of this work in GB is $$$. Nice results. I like your wheels.
Perhaps some spacers and steeper drop.

lose the black roof!!! What is it with UK owners and black rooves??

everything else looks very good, love the molded rear, I'll have to decide on doing it on mine (or just go Chargespeed) eventually!

Blackroof probably came about through the 'euro scene' and with the rear window following the exact lines of the roof its almost rude not to honest

^^ Yeah black roof is almost a must. Makes the car look so much cleaner and classier in person. I would go with some black wheels to set off the roof and youll be set. Clean ride man!

Change out wheels, add more black so the roof doesnt seem out of place.... Maybe black out your headlights and get black wheels/silver lip.....

Ive toyed with all the options mentioned above and if im honest im thinking about swapping out the wheels but decided to take the clean route therefore you may notice in my first pic the head lights have been cleared, 06 tail lights, cleared indicators (we have to run a fog light here) and 370z indicators. Every light has been modded in some way but its so subtle it makes you think... Here is a pic before the kit... Now tell me what you think about the roof... I think it looks beautiful but im Bias! Its a real credit to my bodyshop when you look at the reflection

my aim was to have the look of a panaramic glass roof, so it looked like 1 piece of glass over the top

Dan

I like the black roof. Dont black out more stuff. I think it will start to look tacky if you go overboard.
