*TIMELINE*
03 brickyard Z -touring

03-01-09 --checking out the car -deciding if i should buy it...

03-02-09 --evening-- purchased the car and brought her home =)



**************************************************

03-05-09 --removed the leather bra on the front end



**************************************************

03-19-09 --Got the windows tinted 50% sides 35% rear



**************************************************

04-07-09 -- changed the factory antenna to the RDX one



**************************************************

04-07-09 -- changed out the factory amber reflectors on the bumper to the clear JDM ones.



**************************************************

04-12-09 -- Nismo S-tune exhaust



**************************************************

04-12-09 -- Injen Cold-air Intake



**************************************************

04-18-09 -- installed a front lower lip .. authentic Stillen splitter



**************************************************

04-23-09 -- installed OEM L.E.D. Tail lights



**************************************************

04-27-09 --changed out the "350z" emblem for the JDM "fairladyZ" emblem



**************************************************

05-01-09 -- installed a suede headliner.. will NEVER do this again, took 10 hours to complete and a pain in the @$$!!!!

Tein Master Flex (full racing suspension with EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller)) --05-04-09

just installed my new wheels! 20" staggered! 255's on front 285's on rear with a 4" lip! --05-04-09

05-26-09 -- got rid of the cats, had APS 2.5" test pipes installed with stillen headers -- car has gotten 70% louder! lol... lets wake up the neighbors!!

05-31-09 @ GRD Open house car show

06-21-09 installed a TOP SECRET carbon fiber rear diffuser

07-26-09 -- riced out the car with decals (this is only temporary- had it applied for "AnotherLevel car show"



08-06-09 -- tinted the tail lights
(took about 1.5 hours but it came out nice!)

sold the wheels! winter wheels are back on...

Upgraded the stock HID headlights 4300k to 8000k

Switched out the OEM steering wheel with a "Personal" Racing steering wheel with hub..

Switched out my door panels for 2008 350z door panels w/ Carbon Fiber trim

-upgraded original BOSE audio with Hertz HSK 6.5" 3-way components and tweeters

-Used Wicked C.A.S. leather door pods

Never though about the interior door panel upgrade, but it looks nice.

haha, i had to test fit it on to make sure it fits good before it goes to painting..

Not bad.

I've always wondered what the big deal with those suede headliners are. They look cheesy, like something Huggy Bear would have in his car from a Shaft movie. I can only guess that they add weigh over the stock headliner too.

Very nice progression of the Z. What happened to the Gram Light? Do you have pics. I used to have a set but traded them in for a 300zx. I always wanted to see what they would look like on an AX8 color.

the fabric is very light, i highly doubt it adds any effective weight .. but i wanted the headliner to be black ..

hopefully im going to have the gram lights mounted next week.. i have to get my fenders rolled and pulled and have my SPC camber kit installed so i can go lower

finally a brickyard worth looking at...at least once done. Whats the specs on those gramlights?

btw i also tried that suede headliner, i dont like it. It looks tacky like it doesnt belong. So i took it off and just painted the headliner black, looks cleaner imo. Cant wait to see those wheels mounted!
