Yea, the OP knows he doesn't have the 06 lights (which blows) but he did check the vin so it's legit. Obviously the previous owner sold his lights for few a few bucks before selling. At least he has 06 taillights, right?
never really saw the diff between the brickyard n interlagos fire but it looks bad *** congrats btw get the tint overlay off u gun regret it when it starts to crack get ur self the 06+ headlights
Nice ride but,
1) The guy screwed you out of the 06 bi-xenon headlights which sell for $1000+ used.
2) He felt the need to tell the world he put cheapo Megan Racing parts on the car.
If you had made a thread about it when you were looking at the car, we would have probably told you to walk away! But now that you have it, the first thing I would do is take those stickers off asap, and then call the guy and complain about the car not having the headlights it came with. Hopefully it wasn't in a front-end crash and he put the older headlights on to pocket the rest of the insurance money. This happens a lot, as an insurance company is likely to give $2000 or more for a set of 06+ headlights at dealer cost, and a set of 03-05 xenons can be found for around $300 on here.

Welcome and congrats on the new Z...I've always like that color.
Shame the original owner swapped out the bi-xenon headlights and LED tails...those are a hot item for 03-05 guys to upgrade to.

guy guys before we go jumping the gun, i checked with him about the 06 headlights. he said he had problem after problem with them so he replaced them with 03 05. granted somethings need a little changing. i think coming from a 03 silverado with 115k on it to an 06 z with 60k on it, i came out ahead. thanks for all the compliments. looking forward to getting more educated about these things.
Looks like it's been modded on the cheap and the previous owner had no idea how to care for paint, which is a shame because Interlagos Fire is probably my favourite factory colour.
But, you can always rebuild it (And get it professionally polished). Then you will have a sick ride.
