I love/hate my Evo. Had the damn car since '06 when I traded my Z in for it.
I'd easily get rid of a 350 for an Evo again. I miss the hell out my Z though, and always toy with the idea of buying a 370, especially ever since I paid my Evo off.

Just boost the Z and it'll be another story. Just not the same being able to get slideways w rwd. Evos/subies are baddass looking and tho. I do love them when modded correctly.
Edit: and u have HR-so that 450-500 mark is so perfect for street fun without having to build the bottom end as u already know.

This troubled me within the first months of owner ship. I felt like an sti/evo would have been more bang for my buck. I then started to notice all the things I didn't like about the Z. Then, I did a couple of bolt ons for the heck of it and wheels; the car seemed transformed and I got compliments literally every time I parked it in public. Long story short, to me the Z began to feel like a "nice" car to own; the car gave me a sense of pride and didn't look "boy racer" like the evo or sti. Of course this was in 07 and I still owed 28k on the Z; trading in the Z would have left me with a 40k loan on a new evo, I guess that's the real reason why I didn't trade it in
