Your source picture only shows up that big (i.e. right click the picture, choose 'Copy Picture Location...' and paste that URL into the address bar of your browser). Is your camera/phone set to take pictures at some small resolution? If disk space isn't an issue, I would recommend setting your camera to the highest possible resolution and then down-sizing as necessary after the fact. You can always scale down, but scaling up will result in pixelation.

No problem. Just keep in mind that if you end up taking your pictures at high resolution, you will need to shrink them down to fit on the page here in the forum. May take some trial and error to figure out a good size (Width x Height).
