Lost a bit of passion for the Z lately, seriously thinking of selling and getting a Z4 35i. Twin turbo from the factory has been very appealing.

The previous gen had a M coupe, but I don't like that body style. Newest version is a hardtop which makes it even more enticing.

The N54 is a 3L I6 TT engine, debuted in 3series e92, same engine evolved and featured in Z4 M and 1M both of which could kill E9x M3 but BMW detuned the first 2 to keep M3s reputation.
Sadly it had HPFP issues, which is why i decided to awat stay from back in 2008.
I am not sure if these issues were fixed. I kind of lost interest due to body styles.

From the other day.
The field I parked in started to flood, took the pic after it stopped raining and flipped it

Test drove a 2011 M3 DCT and holychitsfastassbackintoseatkick. I'm looking at my Z with a dimming flame. Just washed the Z and am contemplating.
