Your Vehicles As They Sit Now
The worst part is that you could scrap your windows and get the ice off, but within 5 minutes another sheet of ice formed. And if you had the wipers going, they would just get coated in ice as you're driving.
But I will say, if you are driving properly and cautiously, the Z is not bad in ice/snow.

I am getting a custom built twin turbo kit built by a reputable shop in San Antonio (JMS Racing) using HTA3076 turbos. The heads are completed already with new JWTs C1HR camshafts and springs with cam bolt mod, and BC 1mm+ valves and valve guides. The sleeved block I received back from Darton is getting Honed at the moment, should be done no later than this week. But I am shooting for 500-600whp low boost 600-750whp high boost on E85 With my 9.5:1 CP pistons I'm really hoping to retain some of the torque and I hope my BC +625 rods hold the power.

eek. Last place I'd take my engine to is GTM. Probably wouldnt get it back for year(s). I guess that's water under the bridge now. But for 600whp, stock HR motor can deal!
As for where you're at right now, that is exciting. What turbo kit you plan on running, seeing the GTM bankruptcy and Greddy not having a kit out at the moment? I've read your thread but didnt see what direction you;re taking.

I know of JMS and from what i know, great company. That's exciting man. You think of going a step up on the rods for safety but also for future possibilities? HD rods for only 625 seems low for a complete tear down / build off. Id spend a few more coin and get those 1000s! Then if the time comes, you can go more boost and no worries! You'll get use to 500-600 real quick.
I hate to agree with TH, but why purposely put a weak spot in your motor? With the motor you are putting together, you should be able to really push it, especially with those turbos!
Well I got these BC +625s because they are rated for an excess of 300hp per cylinder. That's 1800hp, I might be wrong but what do you guys think? I can always go for something beefier.

If that is the case MM, I feel you should be ok, I just assumed that the 625 was a torque capacity for all 6

Oh! BC as in Brian Crower. Brain fart! I'm assuming those are some of the beefier ones. If it's rated atleast 1000whp then yeah, sounds good! Man, you make me want to build MM!!!
