Me, today, in an effort to keep with Chris up the NW US (nismo0385) and to see how many times I could do it in a year, finally got around to swapping out my wheels/tires. Yet again...
Wife asks, "What are you up to today?"
Me: "Oh, doing some finishing touches on a report for a client then going to swap my wheels and put the other set up for sale."
She say, "Again?? Wow, I think maybe you should get a job over at the Whole Foods so you can do something productive." (It's an inside joke...)
Deadpan her... "My wheel swaps are better than you and your sister, trading shoes all the time! And when I'm bored with mine, I can still sell them....unlike those depreciated and dilapidated puppies on your feet."
She gets last word as she drives off to work: "If they're dilapidated, you'll buy me some new ones this weekend?"
Oooops. Dammit.
