let's see the ONE best pic of your car
I swear this is gonna be my last post in this thread for awhile. I was so lucky to com across this! Shot taken in Nanakuli Hawaii. Some might think it's oversaturated, but I like it this way. Nope, no HDR at all! Just Canon's DPP to process the RAW, and Apple's lowly iPhoto. OEM software.

Taken with Canon Rebel XTi and 28-135mm IS handheld.

the spokes are glossy, the hub in the center has a kind of brushed aluminum finish to it.
Picked it up August 31st. Just got home after blasting 160kmh down an empty, new, clear 5 mile stretch with 2 lanes, and 2 large shoulders. First time I took the car out on an open stretch. Such a smooth car at speed.

The trick is waiting till just before dark so you can use a long enough shutter speed to blur the color of the sky and get that nice blue color. Better yet, you can also invest in a Neutral Gradient filter to cut the amount of light in day shots, so you can prolong shutter time. Or you can wait till night and get some other effects. You can try it as short as 2 seconds... and as long as 30 seconds. You'll get different levels of blur. Obviously, more blurring will take place at 30 seconds.
The setup and how-to is detailed here:

You can find another 19 pics here:

... and a daytime shot, obviously, shot at a slower shutter... 0.3 (3/10) sec.

Alright... here is my current ballin' unpainted CF hood look ®
, pic shot today at the office's parking lot. All comments are welcome, of course. (I wish I had cleaned the Aerocatches up before the shot... I just noticed how dirty they are!)
